TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES FOR JUNE 2026 INTAKES

Ekwendeni College of Health Sciences is under the proprietorship of the CCAP Synod of Livingstonia. It exists to provide training of Health professionals within Christian Principles and Values.  The College invites applicants to pursue the following programmes:Certificate in Community Midwifery, Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery, Diploma in Pharmacy and Diploma in Clinical Medicine.

  1. FACULTY OF NURSING AND MIDWIFERY

    1.CERTIFICATE IN COMMUNITY MIDWIFERY (18 MONTHS)

Entry Requirements

All prospective candidates for this program must:

  1. Be aged between 20 and 40 years by the date of application.
  2. Possess a full Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) or its equivalent with two credit passes in English and Biology and a pass in either Physical Science , Physics ,Chemistry or Mathematics.
  • DIPLOMA IN NURSING AND MIDWIFERY (3 YEARS)

 Entry Requirements

      All prospective candidates for this program must:

  1. Be aged between 16 and 45 years by the date of application.
  2. Possess a full Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) or its equivalent with four credits in English, Biology and Physical Science or Physics or Chemistry plus one of the following science subjects Mathematics, Agriculture, Home Economics, General Science or Geography

NOTE: If Mathematics is not a credit, it should at least be a strong pass of seven (7) points.

  • FACULTY OF CLINICAL SCIENCES
  1. DIPLOMA IN PHARMACY (3 YEARS)

     Entry Requirements

     All prospective candidates for this program must:

  1. Be aged between 16 and 45 years by the date of application
  2. Possess a full Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) or its equivalent with six (6) credit passes including English, Mathematics, Biology and Physical Science, General Science or Chemistry plus any other two subjects.
  • DIPLOMA IN CLINICAL MEDICINE (3 YEARS)

      Entry Requirements

      All prospective candidates for this program must:

  1. Be aged between 17 and 45 years by the date of application.
  2. Possess a full Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) or its equivalent with six (6) credits in English, Mathematics, Biology and Physical Science/General Science/Physics and Chemistry plus any other two subjects.

Applicants meeting the above requirements should download application form from www.ecohs.ac.mw and fill the form. Applicants must also deposit a MK20,000.00 (Twenty Thousand Kwacha Only) non-refundable application processing fee to the following bank details:
