A Learner is a unique individual with past experiences and needs, which should be respected. He/She has different capabilities which should be taken into consideration if the teaching/learning process is to be effective. He/She has responsibility for his/her own learning and self-development through active participation. The learner should be provided with an environment conducive to learning. In addition, a learner who is inspired with the Word of God will be able to treat patients and clients with love and dignity.
